Traci Manalani has joined the team at Century 21 All Islands and is offering a new twist in how Real Estate can relate to the community.
Traci, her husband, Cory, and her son, Alan, have been actively involved on Kaua‘i since moving here in 1996.
She is now continuing in the spirit of giving through a new program related to her position as a Realtor-Associate.
Traci explained, “My hope is to create more awareness of the great needs within our community while at the same time empowering more people to get directly involved by doing something to make a positive difference.”
The plan consists of donating a portion of her commissions from listings in honor of the sellers.
She explained, “To bring my personal and professional passions together, I have initiated a program that will allow my work in real estate to enhance the community. One-third (or 33 percent) of my portion of commissions on all my listings will be donated to a Kaua‘i-based community service organization of the sellers choice in their honor. The hope is that people will become more aware of the needs on Kaua‘i and will also personally feel the positive benefits of giving.”
Traci shared, “Another goal is to maintain the wisdom of Hawaiian values in modern business. Values such as sharing, gift-giving, reciprocity, hospitality and aloha are imperative as much now as ever.
“The late George Kanahele has been a great inspiration to me through his understanding of Hawaiian values, which I try to live by. Kanahele describes, Wealth, thought the people of old, is found not so much in your possessions, but in the ability to give generously of what you possess.”
Before becoming a Realtor-Associate with Century 21 All Islands, Traci has worked as a psychotherapist with individuals and families on Kaua‘i and has worked in human resources management.
Traci is also actively involved with the Rotary Club of Kapa‘a and is in the process of starting the first Kids Care Club on Kaua‘i.
As for the change into Real Estate, Traci explained how she had taken time off from being a therapist to assist her son with his educational needs.
Traci stated, “During that time, I was surrounded by so many generous people in the field of real estate through Rotary and other activities. I realized what an impact I too could make by working in a growing area of the economy being able to give more, while also having a direct positive impact in peoples lives by making their dreams come true through property-ownership.”
Although many of her respected colleagues are in different Real Estate organizations, Traci said, “I chose Century 21 All Islands not only due to the versatility, powerful marketing and proven record of their excellent success, but also due to their dynamic communication network that facilitates faster sales.
“Plus I am very excited to be a part of Century 21s new Kapa‘a office in Kaua‘i Village (formerly Kahn Gallery) as it will be very convenient to more of the community and will be great exposure for listings people have with us.”
