Keep legacy alive
It is sometimes hard to believe that groups of people are so jealous of a small piece of history for a native people that they will try to cause additional hardships for them.
After living 21 joyous years in the Islands my wife and I are outraged at the attempts of some people to negate this wonderful legacy via the courts. We were welcomed with open arms and never tried to change what Hawai‘i means.
When arriving in the Islands I became a Master Tour Guide through the HVB program and really learned about the history of these beautiful and generous people.
I am writing now to ask that the program be left as it is. In time there will no longer be Hawaiians and then you can attack the legacy. Especially don’t lie to get your way.
We can truly say that this world will not be a better place when they are gone. In closing, we hope everyone gives their support to not letting the legacy die.
With much Aloha,
