State Sen. Gary Hooser, D-Kaua‘i, is set to announce his re-election plans for the upcoming 2004 state election.
Hooser said he will outline his future plans at a “stew and rice” fundraiser set for Sunday, Sept. 21 from 5-7 p.m at Smith’s Tropical Paradise in Wailua.
Hooser said he will also summarize his legislative agenda for the 2004 session of the Legislature scheduled to begin in January.
He said the fundraising party is aimed at celebrating his first year as Kaua‘i’s senator in the Legislature. The event is to feature the music of Larry Rivera. The event is sponsored by the Friends of Gary Hooser.
