The Australian Navy Frigate HMAS Warramunga tied up at Pier 1 at Nawiliwili Harbor on Friday morning.
The ship is participating in a joint exercise with Pacific Missile Range Facility personnel, and was greeted by the Navy League of Kaua‘i as well as by Beth Tokioka of the County of Kaua‘i’s Office of Economic Development and county public information officer Cyndi Ozaki.
Royal Australian Navy Band members aboard the ship are scheduled to play a noontime concert at Kukui Grove Center today.
The ship’s home port is Perth, Western Australia.
