Custom Limo belted out 22 hits enroute to a 9-6 win over KFD in HGEA Softball action that was played Aug. 21 at Isenberg Field.
Hank Ibia and Guy Higa each came up with four singles apiece in the hit-a-thon with Ibia driving home an RBI.
Sam Dias added a trio of singles, Steven Carvalho whacked a triple and a pair of singles with an RBI.
Sia Salausa drove in four runs on a homerun and a single with Brady Tokuda finishing with a triple and a pair of singles with one run driven in.
A triple by Peter Caalim led KFD who came up with a dozen hits for their six runs in the loss. Caalim also singled.
Mike Scoval and John Blaylock each drove in a pair of runs, Scovel finishing with a pair of singles and Blaylock with a single.
Corey Sakai rounded out the KFD offense with a pair of singles with one RBI.
Didi Ibia allowed the dozen KFD hits with one walk, fanning no one in the win for Custom Limo with Gregg Morishige slammed for the 22 Custom hits on one walk. He had no strikeouts.
Hard Knocks 10, Hana Hou 9
Dan Fort and Bobby Texeira each finished with a pair of singles to lead Hard Knocks to a 10-9 win, Texeira also being credited with an RBI in the win.
Eight other Hard Knocks’ batters singled in the outing.
Fort and Corey Rego shared the win, Fort allowing three Hana Hou hits while walking eight, and Rego finishing with four hits allowed on no walks.
Brenn Nakaahiki suffered the loss for Hana Hou.
Larry Ephan belted a homer and a triple to lead the Hana Hou bats, finishing the night with a pair of RBI.
Nelson Chiba also added an RBI on his outing that finished with a double and a single.
Don Ouderkirk and Al Santella each drove in a pair of runs, Ouderkirk ending with a pair of singles, and Santella finishing with a single.
Nogi’s 7, Rainbow Sports 14
Lance Nakata held Nogi’s to just seven hits as Rainbow Sports exploded for 20 hits enroute to a 14-7 win.
Lenn Nitta notched three RBI in his two-singles outing with Tyrus Matsumoto driving in the winning run in his 2-RBI, 3-singles outing.
Mike Shimatsu, Davis Oshiro, David Carveiro, and Galen Shigeta each notched RBI in the win with Shimatsu, Oshiro, and Shigeta finishing with three singles apiece. Carveiro ended with a pair of singles.
Eight players picked up hits for Nogi’s with Steven Mardonado and Marvin Mikasa sharing the loss, Mardonado being strapped with 16 hits on one walk.
