The 2003 Heartwalk was held on Saturday at the Kukui Grove Center’s pavilion.

The event was sponsored by the American Heart Association, Kaua‘i Chapter.

Featured at the event was a demonstration of world-class jump roping by the Isenhart sisters of Washington State.

The sisters are silver medalists in world competition, and have competed in eight national championships.

They were invited to perform by Cathy Shanks, director for the American Heart Association, Kaua‘i Chapter. Shanks coordinated the annual walk.

The sisters performed incredible jump roping tricks and were on Kaua‘i with their family.
