Terrorism and aggression
To set the record straight, the U.S. launched missile attacks on the sovereign nations of Sudan and Afghanistan on August 21, 1998 with Secretary of State Madeline Albright announcing a “war on terrorism”.
She added “this is unfortunately the war of the future, and we have to understand the importance of sustained operations here”.
The action came less than two weeks after terrorists bombed U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania that the U.S. said were linked to a millionaire sponsor named Osama bin Laden. This suspect had been known to American authorities six years earlier (1992) when he reportedly admitted bombing U.S. troops in Yemen, but there was no effort to bring him to justice.
Meantime, nothing has been accomplished by Congress or the administration to disclose “what CREATES a terrorist” in the first place. They don’t want to confess to the long history of overt and covert U.S. military and economic aggression as noted in my webpages under “56 Grievances”. http://www.globalvisions.org/cl/swn

It works both ways
I have often heard that people in the U.S. of A. are unhappy that so many American jobs are going overseas. I believe that part of the problem is that Unions are the reason that union jobs are going overseas.
In the years that I belonged to Local 770 retail clerks union in L. A. Calif. never once did a union boss say,
“OK, we got you this great package now you guys gotta work harder and smarter, so the company can afford these raises without raising prices.”
So big manufacturers have to send the work to other places so that they can keep the prices to the consumer down. If they don’t, the raise they just gave doesn’t help, ‘cause they just have to raise prices.
Don’t get me wrong, unions are very necessary, but as they get management to be fair with employees they also need to make sure that employees are fair with ” the company”, ie: work harder and smarter.
And the unions shouldn’t protect lazy or poor workers just because they are union members. In fact , the union steward should chastise the lazy or poor worker and tell him/her that they are costing “the company” money, and that is making it harder for ” the company” to make a profit. Profits are what keep a company in business.
