KGC was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. The golf course opened 19 years ago.
The new owners of the course have vowed to “restore the golf course to its original luster.”
The plan is to “correct all of the golf course problems that have been put on hold with the previous ownership and enhance many of the Hawaiian historical features that make the property so special.”
The revonations include, repair bunkers, pond liners, level tees, reestablish green sizes and tee sizes, planting of paspalium turf for the tees, greens and surrounds, planting 419 Bermuda turf for the rough grass and tree trimming and brush clearing.
