Lihue — Hokuala continued their winning streak on Wednesday night at Isenberg park.
They took on Da Wahines of Lihue who had a win and a tie. Pitching for Hokuala was Shantell Wong and Wailana Borrero.
Wong pitched for the first inning and was then relieved by Borrero. Wong had a total of two walks, one strikeout and allowed four runs on two hits. Borrero hurled three strikeouts, walked three batters and allowed one run on four hits.
Darcie Allianic took to the mound for Da Wahines.
She had three walks, four strikeouts and allowed 10 runs on five hits.
Offensively, Da Wahines Darcie Allianic, Jaezelle Balilea, Tiana Carlos, Cherisse Simeona, and Heather Kubota each scored a run. Robin Jose led the team by going 2-for-3.
Hokuala was led by the batting of Jessica Iwata, Brittany Brackenridge, and Krystal Ijima. Iwata went 1-for-2 with two scored runs and an RBI. Brackenridge and Ijima went 1-for-2 with a scored run and an RBI each.
