Representatives of Princeville Corporation recently announced the promotion of Shaylyn Kimura to golf sales manager of the Princeville Golf Club.
Kimura is responsible for sales, marketing and promotion of the Prince and Makai golf courses and club facilities. She has been with Princeville Corporation for three years, and was assistant merchandise buyer for the Princeville Golf Club pro shops before the promotion.
A graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, she holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Kimura has three children, and enjoys spending time with them and husband Jan in her free time.
The Princeville Golf Club features the 18-hole Prince Golf Course, rated number one in Hawaii by Golf Digest magazine.
Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., it has received numerous awards since its opening in 1990. The Prince spans 390 acres of landscaped greens, tropical jungles, waterfalls and ravines. Its companion course, the 27-hole Makai, offers three distinct, nine-hole layouts (Lakes, Ocean, Woods), each with ocean and mountain views.
Opened in 1971, the 200-acre Makai golf course was also designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., and was his first solo effort.
