Infant Kodie Michiko Kanawaimeleonalani Sugahara of Waimea, died at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital on May 31, 2003.
Born in Kapiolani Children’s Hospital, on Dec. 15, 2002, she is survived by her parents, Maile Moriguchi and Preston Sugahara of Waimea; grandparents, Myles and Paula Moriguchi of Waimea, Joel and Faith Sugahara of Arizona and formerly of Kapaa; and Randal and Crystal Bargayo of Lihue; sister, Bailey Kaneakalau of Waimea, twin sister, Kylie Sugahara of Waimea; great-grandparents; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel; service officiated by Father Keahi will begin at 12 noon. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
Nemesio Carlos
Nemesio Mandac Carlos of Kapaa, died at home on May 25, 2003, at the age of 94.
Born in Loag Norte, Philippines on December 19, 1908, he was a High School Custodian and retired in 1974.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Carlos of Kapaa; son, Robert (Anita) Arconado of San Dimas, California; three daughters, Evelyn (Bob) Haygood of Moss Point, Mississippi, Elizabeth Eaton of Lihue, E. Lynn Spears of Kapaa, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 6, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary where services will begin at 11 a.m. Lunch to follow at noon to 2 p.m. at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary. Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Kauai Memorial Gardens. Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.

Patricia “Lampy” Lowy, BB 11-23-43, AA 6-10-74, Loving wife of Thomas, Mother of Scott, Mindy, Thomas, 4 grandchildren, is now at rest with God of her understanding. Also having raised many AA babies. No local services will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to AA General Services, 475 Riverside Dr. New York, NY 10115 in her memory.
Known best for bringing light and love to all she touched. We will miss leggs dearly.
