Kauai Mountain Riders has rescheduled its Hare Scrambles Race No. 3 until Sunday, June 8.
The race is set for Anahola and the starting area is at the parking area off of Kealia Road.
Off-road motorcyclisits, motocrossers and trail riders are all urged to enter. The race is similar to a motocross event, but run on trails and mixed open sections.
Riders are scored for how many laps are completed in three-plus hours.
The Sunday event is a “2” rider hare scramble. Riders team up in pairs, taking turns riding each lap. There are two divisions, an “A Class” for more experieneced riders and a “B Class” for less experienced riders. Each class has age and motorcycle size divisions.
A pre-ride of the course is set for Saturday, June 7. Proceeds from the event are being used to cleanu up the Anahola riding area. Call David at 635-3903 or Rick at 651-5467 for more information.
