Marie R. Bertrand of Lihue, died on May 22, 2003 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 96.
Born in Lihue on October 20, 1906, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, John Bertrand of Lihue; two brothers, Lucas (Daisy) Rapozo of Lihue, Albert Rapozo of Lihue; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, June 3, at Immaculate Conception Church from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. where mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. by Father Paul. Burial to follow at church cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.

Roberta Leilani Namakaeha (Kalahiki) Kaleiohi of Anahola died on May 25, 2003, at the age of 70.
Born in Kapaa on March 12, 1933, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Ephraim Kaleiohi III, Edward Kaleiohi and Job Kane all of Anahola; six daughters, Glorietta Kaleiohi of Koloa, G’Nell Vea of Anahola, Mitzie Kaleiohi of Anahola, Tanaia Kaleiohi of Anahola, Corina Kaleiohi of Anahola and Olandra Kaleiohi of Hanamaulu; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; hanai children, Yukie De Silva of Kapaa, Peter Lopez of Puhi and Kinsley Guillen of Wailua Homesteads; one aunt; numerous nieces, nephews ad cousins.

BB 11-23-41, AA 6-10-74, Loving wife of Thomas, Mother of Scott, Mindy, Thomas, 4 grandchildren, is now at rest with God of her understanding. Also having raised many AA babies.
No local services will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to AA General Services, 475 Riverside Dr. New York, NY 10115 in her memory.
