The Wailua Homesteads boy who was hit by a vehicle while riding his bike on Kolopua Street May 12 died May 18 at the Queen’s Medical Center.
Gene Martin III was 9 and a student at Kapaa Elementary School.
According to the Kauai Police Department, he was riding a bicycle and passed between two passing cars, then was hit by a pickup truck.
