Ismo Yoshishige, Glenn Akina, and Yuki Shigeta paired hits in the win that was credited to Buster Matsumura on the mound.
Ken Tamashiro and Ron Alfonso led the Kawaihau bats with a pair of hits each.
Fujii’s bat continued to sizzle into the second contest as he homered in this 3-hit contribution in Lihue’s 9-6 win over East Kauai.
Yoshishige and Tomo Hiranaka added to the firepower with three hits apiece.
Joe Brun picked up the Lihue win on the mound over Walter Silva.
Alex Youn led the East Kauai bats with three hits followed by Don Boro, Damien victorino, and Al Salvador with a pair of hits each for East Kauai.

Dernie Domingo homered on three hits with Doric Remata knocking out another homer on a pair of hits to lead the K-Makules with Lefty Remata suffering the loss on the mound.
Bukoski switched from the batter’s box to the mound to lead West Kauai to their second victory of the day, pitching to a 36-4 win over Kuku’s Aces.
Bernard Simao led the West Kauai hitters with a 2-run homer on five hits with Ephan and Bukoski firing solo homers on three hits each.
Kaleo Furtado picked up three hits for Kuku’s Aces.
Saturday’s contest moves to the Eleele Field with West Kauai (5-1) taking on the Lihue A’s (4-2) in the opener.
West Kauai (5-1) will take on Kuku’s Aces (1-5) in the second contest with Kwaihau (0-6) attempting to score a win against East Kauai (1-5) in the third contest. K-Makules (3-3) will try to topple the Rookies (6-0) in the finale.
