The site for the 2003 U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship will be the Blue Heron Pines Golf Club in Galloway, New Jersey.
The national tournament is scheduled for the week of July 14-19.
The Kauai sectional qualifying, a 36-hole medal play, will be held at the Wailua Golf Course on June 7.
Art Fujita, Kauai’s sectional chairperson for the USGA, urges all public links golfers on the island to file their entries early.
Completed entries must be received no later than 5 p.m. on May 28 at the following address:
United States Golf Association, US Amateur Public Links, P.O. Box 223, 77 Liberty Corner Rd. Far Hills, NJ 07931-0223.
Entries by telephone, telegraph, or fax are not acceptable.
Entry fee is $30 made payable to the USGA.
Those entering must have an up-to-date USGA handicap index of 8.4 or lower.
