Barbara P. Koerte of Hanama’ulu, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Feb. 23, 2004, at the age of 68.
A custodian for the Department of Water, she was born on June 12, 1934.
She is survived by her daughter: Joanne Koerte of Hanama’ulu and Cindy (Pedro) Duterte of Hanama’ulu, sons: Stanley (Rose) Koerte of Puhi and Michael J. Koerte of Hanama’ulu. Also surviving are sisters: Marian P. Silva of Lawa’i and Susan (Benjamin) Kali of Hanapepe. There are four grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. There are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, Feb. 27, at Immaculate Conception Church from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. where Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. by Fr. Keahi. Burial will follow at Kaua’i Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
Casual or aloha attire is suggested. Arrangements by Borthwick Kaua’i Mortuary.

Connor Paet Plowman, infant daughter of Chad and Divina Plowman of Lihu’e, died at Kapiolani Women’s & Children’s Hospital on Feb. 18, 2003.
She was born on Feb. 20, 2003.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Wayne (Dolores) Delos Santos; Dr. and Mrs. Gary (Pina) Plowman; Mr. and Mrs. Larry (Adelina) Paet, all of Lihu’e; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Visitation will be from 9 a.m., with Mass at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lihu’e. Burial will be at 11 a.m. at Kaua’i Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Mortuary on O’ahu.
