Doroteo “Dickie” Dela Cruz of Pakala, Kauai, died at Wilcox Mememorial Hospital, on Dec. 27, 2002 at the ate of 73.
Born in Kekaha, Kauai on Feb. 6, 1929, he was a retired Field hand with Gay & Robinson.
He is survived by three sons, Dolen Duke Dela Cruz, Sr. of Pakala, Dino Douglas Dela Cruz of Big Island and Ray Allen Dela Cruz of Kekaha; three daughters, Darlene C. Garania of Hanamaulu, Laura J. Dela Cruz-Caminos of Big Island and Patricia Ann Dela Cruz of Kekaha; two brothers, Anthony “Tony” (Primativa) Domingo of Waimea, Kauai; Francisco “Unkey” (Loretta) Domingo of Honolulu; sister, Florentina “Flora” (Maxie) Moreno of Kekaha, Kauai; 19 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Sat., Jan. 11, 2003 at Waimea Sacred Heart Church; mass officiated by Father Larry will begin at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

Tamiko Nonaka Inoue
Tamiko Nonaka Inoue of Kalaheo, Kauai, died at home on Dec. 31, 2002 at the age of 74.
Born in Hanapepe, Kauai on Feb. 9, 1928, she was a retired Registered Dietitian with Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Inoue of Kalaheo, father: Takano Inoue of Kalaheo; brothers: Hideo (Fujiko) Nonaka of Hanapepe, Masatoshi (Yukie) Nonaka of Lawai, Iwao Nonaka of Hanapepe, Frank (Pearl) Nonaka of Hanapepe, Paul Nonaka of Missouri; sisters, Fumie Nonaka of Honolulu, Helen (Tokio) Uyeno of Lihue, Clara (Charles) McCollum of Oklahoma.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003 at Holy Cross Church. Mass officiated by Father Keahi will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be private. Casual attire is suggested. Flowers omitted.

Clara Ellis
Clara P. “Mary” (Hanohano) Ellis of Honolulu, died at Castle Medical Center on Dec. 25, 2002, at the age of 76.
Born in Haena, Kauai on May 6, 1926, she was a graduate of McKinley High School, and a retiree of Queen’s Hospital, and a member of the Kapuna Ohana.
She is survived by four sons: Agenhart “Kamealoha” (Dorie) Ellis, Daniel “Poki” (Hazel) Ellis, Raynard (Janice) Ellis, Gilbert “Kala” (Penny) Ellis; two daughters: Mrs Eldon (Kehau) Kohatsu, Mrs. Harry (Noe) Donato; two sisters: Mrs. Nancy Piilani and Mrs. Winona Watanabe; 23 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Jan. 11, at the Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, Kane’ohe from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at 1 p.m. Casual attire is suggested.
