For the third year in a row, the Waimea Machismos, under Coach Mark Kennett, have won the Will Veeck Soccer Tournament in their age division.
This year, the Machismos won the coveted island title in the Boys Under 16 Division with an undefeated season.

The Lihue Strikers (2) tied the Wailua Bring It (2) at the end of regulation at the Will Veeck Tournament, but after a shootout, the Strikers lost. Lihue remains the 12-Under championship for its performance during the regular season.
