Kauai Jr. Tennis Association will be hosting tennis pro Dino Bondallian from Mauna Lani Tennis Garden (Kona) Nov. 24 at the Ala Lani Spa and Tennis Club.
From 10-noon, he will be working with adults interested in learning junior tennis coaching techniques involved in the USTA LET (Local Excellence Training) and CTC (Competitive Training Centers).
Both programs encourage development of physical and mental aspects for novice, intermediate, and open level junior tennis players. He will offer ball drills, tactics and techniques in addition to mental toughness concepts.
Interested persons should have a racket and non-marking tennis shoes.
Participating adults will then apply their new knowledge and skills on junior players from 1-4pm. Junior players interested in attending must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and have a racket and non-marking tennis shoes.
There will be a $5 charge to cover the cost of balls and refreshments for junior players.
