Waimea High School Jr. R.O.T.C. cadet corporal Marisa Uyehara blows Taps following the Annual Veterans Day Service held Monday morning at the Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe. Uyehara was echoed by 9th grader Brian Martin. Under the direction of Major Victor Aguilar, the Waimea HS Jr. R.O.T.C. program has 201 students enrolled. The annual Veterans Day service was coordinated by the Kaua’i Veterans Council. Representatives of the various veterans’ agencies and organizations present wreaths at the Annual Veterans Day services. The annual event was coordinated by the Kaua’i Veterans Council with the keynote address being delivered by Al Niebre (in dark coat).
