The sale of Hanama’ulu-based Niu Construction, Inc. to Honolulu-based Grace Pacific Corp. has been finalized. Niu has been in business on Kaua’i for 16 years. Norman Shinno, who currently oversees Grace Pacific’s Maui operation, will also serve as island manager
The sale of Hanama’ulu-based Niu Construction, Inc. to Honolulu-based Grace Pacific Corp. has been finalized.
Niu has been in business on Kaua’i for 16 years.
Norman Shinno, who currently oversees Grace Pacific’s Maui operation, will also serve as island manager for Niu Construction on Kaua’i. Shinno is a Kaua’i native a 1978 graduate of Kaua’i High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa.
All Niu Construction employees are to be retained, according to a written statement from Grace Pacific.
Grace Pacific president Bob Wilkinson said Grace will also retain Niu Construction’s name for its Kaua’i operation.
Niu Construction has approximately 20 employees and annual revenues of $6 million. Grace Construction has 330 workers employed throughout Hawai’i.
