The KPD is asking for the public’s help in a case of alleged sexual assault in the Waipouli area.
Police are looking for a Caucasian male, between the ages of 40 and 50, approximately five feet, 10 inches tall to six feet tall, and weighing around 200 pounds.
He is wanted for questioning regarding an alleged sexual assault on a young child in or near the public restroom of the Kauai Village shopping center on Friday, Sept. 20, at around 5:30 p.m.
The suspect has short blonde or gray hair, and was wearing square-framed glasses at the time of the incident. He may have a light beard or mustache.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing black shorts, black tank-top T-shirt, and a black necklace, possibly with a fishhook pendant. The suspect fled the scene on foot.
