Several hundred local residents enjoyed a beautiful Kaua’i sunset as they turned out to listen to Democratic candidates stump their platforms at an old-fashioned car rally held at the Kapa’a Beach Park on Tuesday. A second rally is set for Hanapepe Park on Sept. 10, and a final one at Vidinha Stadium on Sept. 17. The event was hosted by the Kaua’i Democratic Party.
