WAILUA – The final round matches of the Kaua’i Junior Golf Association’s Mitchell Ota Match Play Tourney were completed Sunday at the Wailua Golf Course. Juston Thomas defeated Cory French 6/5 for the title in the Boys 15-18 Championship Flight.

Juston Thomas defeated Cory French 6/5 for the title in the Boys 15-18 Championship Flight. Alan Baab topped Erick Wong in the third place bout.
In the Boys 15-18 A Flight, Abraham Akutagawa defeated Mason Koetje 1-up for the championship. Marjovic Soliva took third place in the A Flight bracket.
Jennie Pleas defeated Lehua Wise 1-up for the title of the Girls 14-18 Championship Flight.
In the Boys 13-14 Championship Flight, Brandon Hirota took top honors, defeating Jordan Cox 1-up. Jet Levinthol topped Mike Garcia for third place.
Miki Ueoka defeated Kimberly Yama 2/1 to clinch the Girls 13-14 Championship Flight title.
In the Boys 12-14 A Flight, Travis Toguchi beat Noel Torres 2/1 for first place. Mai’ikai Laureta topped Bubby Saiki for third place.
In the Boys 11-12 Championship Flight, Grant Paiste took first with a 1-up over Wiley Yoshioka. Travis Shigeta took third place.
In the Boys 11-12 A Flight, Mark Guirao defeated Kyle Wong 3-2 for the title. Kai Jordan topped Kainoa Lemke for third place.
Shea Shimabukuro beat Rae-lyn Morikawa 2-up for the title of the Boys and Girls 10-under Championship Flight. Noa Matsuyoshi captured third with a win over Kelli Oride.
In the Boys 10-under 9-hole per day event, Royce Ramos defeated Nathan Wong 4/3 for the title.
