BOISE, Idaho – Lihue’s Lehua Wise led her Hawaii Team with a first round 79 on Tuesday at the 25th Junor America’s Cup Team Matches in Boise Idaho.
The Crane Creek Country Club, the course hosting the Junior America’s Cup, is a Par 72 worth 6,180 yards.
Currently the Hawaii Team, consisting of Kira-Ann Murashige, Stephanie Kono and Lindsay Hong, has a total score of 240, which puts them in sixth place currently on the leaderboard.
The Southern California team is currently in first place with 230; the Northern California team is in second with 232; Mexico is in third with a 234; Washington is in fourth with a 234; and Columbia is in fifth with a 238.
San Diego trails Hawaii by two strokes at 242; Sun Country is right behind had 243; and Arizona, Oregon, Utah, Alberta, Idaho, Colorado, Montana, Southern Nevada, Northern Nevada and Wyoming follow (in that order).
