The Kaua`i Soccer Tournament wrapped up Sunday with finals taking place at the soccer complex on the grounds of Island School in Puhi.
Visiting team No Fear from San Juan took the top berth of the Under 10 Boys with its 3-0 win over the Titans.
A pair of goals from Larisse Rosare pushed the Southside Girls to a 2-1 victory over Kapa`a in the Girls Under-16 finals.
The visiting Buccaneers, also from San Juan, edged Motive 8 2-1 to claim the top slot of the Boys Under 12 division. Spectators noted that this was Motive 8’s first defeat.
The Blue Dolphins soared to a 4-0 win over the Kaua`i Soccer Club to claim the Girls Under 12 competition.
While Coach Mary Pigao lost her voice, High Maintenance pulled out a 3-2 win over the Eastside Girls in a PK situation. High Maintenance took the third place slot of the Girls Under-12 division.
Topper’s goal in overtime was enough to top Tsunami 1-0 and claim the title in the Under 14 Boys competition.
