Need more proof life only gets better as you get older?
Talk to Princeville resident Bob Peshek.
The 71-year-old shot two strokes better than his age (a 69) at Wailua Golf Course’s Wednesday Club Tournament, a feat far more rare than a hole-in-one.
“Have you ever heard of something like that? He is 71!” said Richard Saboda, Chairman of the Wednesday Club Tournament Committee. “It’s just amazing how he can shoot that low at his age.”
The six handicapper achieved this feat on May 15. He was in a foursome made up of Dick Shultz, Peter Kim, Bill Horney and himself.
