More than 100 keiki brought their moms and dads to the Nawiliwili Yacht Club’s third annual Father’s Day Keiki Fishing Tournament. Every keiki went home with a prize, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the following merchants: Big K-Mart; Cost-U-Less;
More than 100 keiki brought their moms and dads to the Nawiliwili Yacht Club’s third annual Father’s Day Keiki Fishing Tournament. Every keiki went home with a prize, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the following merchants: Big K-Mart; Cost-U-Less; Discovery Museum; Holo Holo Charters; Lihue fishing Supply; Long’s Drug Store-Lihue; Maka Imports; and Wal-Mart.
The lucky winners got to pick their prizes and the balance of prizes were distributed by raffle.
Winners included: Biggest Barracuda-Jarett Fujioka; Biggest Fish (20″ puffer)-Chalby Alayzilla; Biggest Papio-Cody Shibukawa; Smallest Papio-Ashlie Manguchei; Fattest Papio-Peter Bierly; Longest Aholehole-Aaron Salvador; Shortest Aholehole-Alexandra Kua.
Other prize winners included: Michael Tabata; Kyler Pikos; Michelle Bailey; Kekailani Pau; Aaron Salter; Dayna Fujii; Mailika Napoleon; Joseph Fu; Cassandra Corpuz; Eli Duar; Matthew Heringer; Aaron Izumo; Shawn Tavares and Bryson Salvador. Their ‘catch’ included crabs, minnows, eels and shrimp.
