Pathfinder Plus flies above PMRF

The U.S. Navy’s Pacific Missile Range Facility at Barking Sands is once again home to a history-making, record-breaking, solar-powered unmanned aerial vehicle flight series. The Pathfinder Plus went aloft Monday, following a scrub of its scheduled take-off on Saturday. The solar plane took up a payload of commercial telecommunication devices for broadcast from the stratosphere.
