GOIAS GOES! Lihu’e Warriors’ Cody Goias lets fly during the history-making Bronco playoff game Tuesday afternoon in Kekaha. Goias led the Lihu’e Bronco all-stars to a 6-1 victory by digging deep into his pitch bag and holding The West Kaua’i all-stars to just a pair of hits while fanning six, and allowing no walks. Goias also helped the Warriors’ offensive effort with a 3-for-4 showing behind the plate including a double and a pair of singles. Both teams meet again on Saturday, June 15 in the Best of three series that will have the winner represent Kaua’i at the state tournment. Game time is 9:30 a.m. at the Lihu’e County Park.
