The annual KJGA Parent/Junior Golf Tournament was held on May 11, 2002 at the Wailua Golf Course. Like in the past years, there were over 95 juniors partnering with parents, uncles, and friends. This years’ format was Scotch Doubles (alternating shots) with the junior teeing off on the odd holes.
A pot-luck gathering at the Wailua House Lots Park where everyone enjoyed the delicious food and fellowship. Door prizes were also given to juniors. The evening ended with trophies being awarded to the winning teams. The following juniors lucky winners of 13″ television sets, Davis Kashima and Thad Fujii. Bubby Saiki and Kellie Oride were the winners of the 19″ television sets.
