There will be softball games going in both southern and western parts of the island on Wednesday, December 26.
First, the Kapa’a Warriors will travel to Isenberg Park to face the Kaua’i Red Raiders at 5:30 p.m. Kapa’a hasn’t won a game yet in KIF play, and will be looking to get on the “W” column against the Red Raiders, who took two from the team two weeks ago.
The Red Raiders, on the other hand, is coming off two big losses to the Waimea Menehunes, last weekend. They are looking to even up their KIF record (2-3) and possibly get themselves into gear for the second round of the season (The Menehunes may have already locked in the first round with their undefeated record).
Speaking of the Menehunes, the Waimea Softball team will have its alumni game on Wednesday-a free-to-the public affair that will pit the Menehunes of old against the Menehunes of today. That will take place at 5:30 at Waimea Canyon Ball Park.
