POIPU, Kauai – The deadline for entries in the PGA Grand Slam of Golf Sweepstakes has been extended to Wednesday, November 7, 2001. The previous deadline was October 31.
“Due to mail delays over the past week, we decided to accept entries as late as November 7,” says Claire Morris-Dobie, Director of Public Relations for the Hyatt Regency Kauai Resort and Spa, who estimates about 200 entries received so far. A random drawing of all entries is scheduled for Monday, November 12, 2001.
The winner of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf Sweepstakes receives a three night stay for two people at the Hyatt Regency Kauai Resort and Spa, a three day pass to the 2001 PGA Grand Slam of Golf and a round of golf for two at the Poipu Bay Golf Course. The prize also includes two inter-island airline tickets.
This year’s Grand Slam, to be held at Poipu Bay Golf Course, November 19, 20, and 21st, brings together Tiger Woods, Retief Goosen, David Duval and David Toms. Sweepstakes entry blanks are available at more than 90 golf facilities throughout the State of Hawaii. Entry blanks are also available at some retail outlets on Kauai.
