Jose DePeralta Saraos of Kaumakani, Kaua’i, died Sept. 25, 2001, at ‘Oma’o Nursing Home at the age of 90.
A truck driver with Olokele Sugar for 35 years, he was born Dec. 4, 1910, in the Philippines.
He is survived by three sons: Clarence (Sally) Saraos of California, Stanley (Rebecca) Saraos of Lihu’e, and Allen (Rosemary) Saraos of Waipahu; one daughter: Eileen (Leo) Saraos of Waipahu; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 6, at Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary Chapel from 9 a.m. Services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by Pastor Phil Marocco. Burial to follow at the Hanapepe Public Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.
