Jess L. Sevy of Kalaheo, Kaua’i, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Sept. 1, 2001, at the age of 67.
Born in Salt Lake City Utah on May 24, 1934. Mr. Sevy was a retired Systems Engineer with TRW.
He is survived by his wife: Andrea Sevy of Kalaheo, Kaua’i, two sons: Steven Sevy of Long Beach, CA, Scott (Dionne) Sevy of San Pedro, CA
Service were private.
Arrangements were handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
Louise Nishibata
Louise Nishibata of Lihu’e, Kaua’i, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Sept. 2, 2001, at the age of 85.
Born in Lihu’e, Kaua’i on Dec. 30, 1916, she a homemaker.
She is survived by: one son: Kaipo Nishibata of Lihu’e, Kaua’i; daughter: Rochelle (Joe) San Agustin of Kekaha, Kaua’i; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sister: Jessie Ching of Hawai’i Kai, O’ahu; sister-in-law: Olga Holi of Hanapepe, Kaua’i; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel; service officiated by Pastor Paul will begin at 10 a.m. Casual attire is suggested.

Raymond Peters, Sr.
Raymond K. Peters, Sr., of Honolulu, died Aug. 30, 2001 at Castle Medical Center.
Born on May 11, 1916, Retired from parks and recreation with the City and County of Honolulu.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Honolulu, one son: Raymond Jr. (Rosemary) of Kekaha, Kaua’i, three sons: Roger, Raymond IV and Clyde; one daughter: Yolanda; two sisters, Leimomi Kau and Edna Shea all of Honolulu; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Borthwick Mortuary (Downtown, Honolulu). Memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Aloha attire is suggested.
Vicenta Colcol
Vicenta Sales Colcol, of ‘Ele’ele, Kaua’i, died at Queen’s Medical Center on Sept. 2, 2001, at the age of 72.
Born in Bacarra Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on Mar. 13, 1929.
She is survived by her daughters: Cecilia McKee of San Diego, Felimar (Michael) Magaoay and Melda (Andy) Battulayan both of Waialua, Oahu; 7 grandchildren; sister: Romana (Vicente) Viernes of Waialua, Oahu, brother: Feliberto (Juanita) Visaya of Waialua, Oahu, nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, Sept. 10, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kalaheo, at 8 a.m. Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kaua’i Memorial Gardens at noon. Casual attire is suggested.
Felix Constantino
Felix Subia Constantino of Kilauea, Kaua’i, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, on Aug. 24, 2001 at the age of 89.
Born in the Philippines, on March 14, 1912, he was a Watchman with Moanalua Gardens.
He is survived by his wife: Bernarda Dugay Constantino of Kilauea; six nephews: Frederick Constantino, John Constantino, Christopher Constantino, Filemon Aguinaldo all of Kilauea; Judge Artemio Baxa, Sr., and Arnold Baxa both of Maui.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Sept. 8, at St. Sylvesters Catholic Church in Kilauea, from 8:30 a.m. mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at the Kilauea Public Cemetery. Casual Attire is suggested.
