The federal services section of International Telephone and Telegraph Corp. at the U.S. Navy’s Pacific Missile Range Facility, Barking Sands, recently honored some of its top employees, with Jenny Cooper, information technologist and computer help desk troubleshooter, named top Employee of the 2nd Trimester.
Setting a new precedent, Cooper was simultaneously nominated by several employees. Others nominated were Michael Young, Bart Amorin, Allan Nesbitt, Kawai Kilauano, Floyd Nakasone and Alex Gaerlan. Years-of-service awards went to Terri Hiraoka, Glen Makaneole, Auren Ferry and Fire Chief Bob Westerman.
Receiving Excellence Awards, given to employees who have made significant contributions to the Systems Division delivery of quality products and services, were Gaerlan, Nesbitt and Tammy Ando. The award also recognizes personnel who contributed significantly in the way of cost savings and/or improved profit.
