Ten Mustang baseball teams and nine Bronco teams will converge on the Hanapepe Stadium complex for the opening of the 2001 Pony Baseball of Kaua’i Goodwill tournament starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 20.
Coming on the heels of a successful Hawai’i Region Mustang Tournament held at the Lihu’e County Park, more quality baseball is on tap for Kaua’i’s baseball fans.
Friday’s schedule calls for six Bronco games being played between two fields starting at 9 a.m. The final game on Friday starts at 2 p.m.
Friday’s Mustang schedule has eight games being played between two fields starting at 9 a.m. with the final games starting at 3 p.m.
The final day’s games on July 22 starts at 9 a.m.
Mustang teams participating include in Division “A,” West Kaua’i A, Mililani A, Kona A, Lihu’e A, and PAL A. Division “B” Mustangs include West Kaua’i C, Mililani B, PAL B, Lihu’e B, and West Kaua’i B.
Bronco teams in Division “A” involves Lihu’e A, Mililani A, Kona A, PAL A, and West Kaua’i A.
Division “B” Bronco teams include Mililani B, Kona B, PAL B, and West Kaua’i B.
