July 30-Aug. 4 at Waimea Field; afternoon session only
Morning sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; afternoon sessions will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

NFL QB Challenge to be aired on CBS
It traditionally marks a sort of beginning of the NFL season, even though it happened months ago on Kaua’i.
But the rest of the nation will see the NFL Quarterback Challenge Saturday, July 14, and Sunday, July 15 on CBS
Saturday’s coverage will run from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Sunday’s broadcast will be from 10-11 a.m.
The Challenge, held at Vidinha Stadium in mid-February, featured Trent Dilfer, Jeff Garcia, Rob Johnson, Peyton Manning, Donovan McNabb and Jake Plummer. Dilfer came away with the victory, which followed on the heels of his Super Bowl title won by his Baltimore Ravens.
West Kaua’i seeks baseball officers
The West Kaua’i Youth Baseball League is seeking nominations for the election of league officers at its September meeting.
