Yes, it’s canoe race season again! So hele on down to Wailua River Park, on the north bank of lovely Wailua River for the annual Walter J. Smith Memorial Regatta. The races will start at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, and continue until about 4 p.m. It’s free entertainment for the whole family. And come hungry! Host Kawaikini Canoe Club will be selling lots of good grinds. For more information, call 822-0647.
