For the second time is less than a month, Kaua’i Police are investigating a corpse found on a north shore beach.
At 12:51 p.m. Friday afternoon, police dispatch received a call from a Kilauea resident who discovered a male body in the trees near Ke’e Beach.
The corpse was located in a tent, and appeared to have been dead for some time according to preliminary reports.
Police said it is not yet known whether foul play was involved in this death.
The death of a man found at Kalalau Beach last month with his throat cut was later ruled a suicide after an autopsy by an off-island coroner.
