He is survived
by: two sons: Peter (Kathy) Ness of Florida and Eric Ness of Florida; two
daughters: Tina Ness of Eleele, Kauai and Wenda Ness of Florida; eight
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews.
Friends may
visit with the family at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23, at the Salt Pond
Pavillion. Casual attire is suggested.

Michelle Allison Ramos
of Hanama’ulu, died Dec. 15, 2000, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of
26.
A waitress at Keoki’s Restaurant at Po’ipu, she was born Sept. 17,
1974, in Lihu’e, Kaua’i.
She is survived by her parents: Sam and Renee
Ramos of Hanama’ulu; two daughters: Alyssa Lardizabal of Lihu’e and Xandra
Ramos Masumoto of Hanama’ulu; one brother: Sam “June” (Momi) Ramos, Jr. of
Hanama’ulu; paternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Primitivo Ramos; numerous
aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 20,
at Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary Chapel from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. service at 7 p.m.
Visitation is scheduled again for Thursday, Dec. 21, at Immaculate Conception
Church in Kapaia from 9 a.m. with Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. by Father
Paul. Burial to follow at Lihue Public Cemetery.
Casual attire is

Joseph Ipo Haumea of Wainiha, Kaua’i, died
Dec. 15, 2000, at his home at the age of 81.
A heavy equipment operator for
the state of Hawai’i, he was born Dec. 14, 1919, in Honolulu, HI.
He is
survived by four daughters: Keikilani (Wayne) Harada of Wainiha, Agnes (Sonny
Boy) Perreira, Cecilia (Benny Ray) Perreira and Rosemary (Americo) Morris, all
of Kalaheo; three sons: Everett (Carmalita) Haumea of Kekaha, Evaron Haumea of
Washington, Joseph (Lusalle) Andrade of Kalaheo; two brothers: Benji (Jane)
Haumea of O’ahu and Bonaparte Haumea of Oregon; two sisters: Mary Ann
(Kalanihou) Valmoja of Maui and Hannah Meyers of Las Vegas; 27 grandchildren,
45 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is
scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 21, at Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary Chapel in Koloa
from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., service at 7 p.m. Visitation is scheduled again for
Friday, Dec. 22, at St. William’s Church in Hanalei from 9 a.m. with Mass to be
celebrated at 11 a.m. by Father Bruce. Burial to follow at Hanalei Community
Cemetery.

Kaua’i, and Clifford (Polly Ann) Kiger of Lihu’e, Kaua’i; six grandchildren;

Carolina and Fredere of Florida.
