A fire early Saturday morning destroyed a two-story home in Kapa`a.

Fire Department officials at the Kaua’i station said the call came in at 1:26
a.m. while the resident of the house, a newspaper deliveryperson for The Garden
Island, was at work.
The two-story home at 1726 Hulu Road became quickly
involved in flames and was, according to the Battalion Chief’s Office, a total
loss, according to officials.
There were no injuries in the blaze.
The
cause of the fire and exact damages have not been determined, but the office of
the Fire Department’s battalion chief reported arson is not
suspected.
