We got out there and had a really good practice
today [Monday]. The kids were excited to be on the field.
We did some work
with our passing today. We know that we’re not going to just be able to run
against Kahuku. They’re too big and strong and fast. We’re going to have to mix
it up with some passing.
On Kahuku coach Sivaki Livai’s comments that
Kahuku really is concerned with preparing itself, not preparing for
Waimea:
As a coach, I guess you have to be concerned about your team. If
your guys aren’t ready to play, then it’s tough. But yeah, that gets us a
little excited over here. We’re not going to lie down for them.
But that’s
part of football. We’re preparing for them and getting our kids ready. He’s got
to deal with his boys over there.
