Inigo InesInigo “Diego” Ines, of Kaumakani and Koloa, Kaua’i, died at
Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Nov. 7, 2000, at the age of 93.
Born in
Sinait, Philippines on June 2, 1907, he was a retired Crew Signman with Olokele
Sugar Co., and Yardman with Kiahuna Plantation.
He is survived by: his
wife: Teresita Ines of Kalaheo, Kaua’i; son: Burt Ines of Kalaheo, Kaua’i;
two daughters: Lorelei (Dwayne) Lopes of Honolulu, O’ahu and Valerie Paden of
Washington State; three grandchildren; two brothers: Honuario Ines and Modesto
Ines, both of Philippines; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17,
at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel; service officiated by Father Keahi will
begin at 7 p.m. Friends may again visit at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, at
the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo; Mass officiated by Father Keahi will
begin at 10 a.m. followed by burial at the Lihue Public Cemetery. Casual
attire is suggested and that flowers be omitted.

Dewitt
Harold McIntyre of South Carolina, died Nov. 9, 2000, at Wilcox Hospital at the
age of 62.
A Chief Petty Officer with the U.S. Coast Guard, he was born
Oct. 6, 1938, in Greenville, S.C.
He is surived by his wife: Glorita Doctor
McIntyre; two daughters: Cori (Michael) Lei Smith and Dona Rae (Steve) Cocking;
one son: Eric (Tamara) McIntyre; mother: Dora Mae McIntyre; one sister: Jane
McIntyre; two brothers: Donnie McIntyre and Rob McIntyre; three grandchildren;
numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held. Arrangements were
handled by Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.
