Hospital at the age of 32. A commercial fisherman, he was born May 21, 1968, in
Lihu’e. He is survived by one daughter: Fendellyn “Buttons” Carvalho of Kapa’a;
one son: Adam Carvalho of Kapa’a; the mother of the children, Franque Oclit of
Kapa’a; parents: John and Genevieve Carvalho of Hanama’ulu; one brother:
Jonathan “Jon” Carvalho of Puhi; three sisters: Shandrina (Kalei) Garcia,
Joanna Carvalho and Christina (Ralley) Medina, all of Hanama’ulu; aunts,
uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends and family may call on Sunday,
Aug. 6, at Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary Chapel in Koloa, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and
again on Monday, Aug. 7, at Immaculate Conception Church from 9 a.m. to 10:45
a.m., where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihu’e
Public Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by
Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.
