She
was born Nov. 23, 1902, in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
She is
survived by sons: Frederick Pasol and Reynaldo (Elsie) Pasol, both of Kaua’i,
Florencio (Gloria) Pasol of Wailuku, Reynaldo (Elsie) Pasol of Kaua’i; stepson:
Sulpicio (Iluminada) Pasol of Kauai, daughter: Simeona Daliva of Wailuku; nine
grandchilren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
at St. Theresa’s Church in Kekaha Saturday, July 29. Visitation will be from 9
a.m. to 10 a.m. with Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Hanapepe Cemetery at
11:30 a.m.
Borthwick/Norman’s and Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary are in charge
of arrangements.
Venancio Guerrero
Venancio Dosono Guerrero of Kapa’a
died July 19, 2000, at Queen’s Medical Center, at the age of 79.
A laborer
for Lihu’e Plantation, he was born May 11, 1921, in the Philippines.
He is
survived by his wife: Rosita Castro Guerrero of Kapa’a; two sons: Venancio
Guerrero of Kapa’a and Rubin Guerrero of San Diego, Calif.; one daughter;
Rosalyn Guerrero of Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother: Mr. and Mrs. Flaviano
Guerrero of the Marian Islands; four sisters: Crispina Guerrero, Paula, Justa
Criste, and Justina Racca, all of the Philippines; several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, July 26, at
Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary Chapel from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again on Thursday,
July 27, at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapa’a from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. where
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Catherine’s Church
Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by
Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.
