Ricafort of New York; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
Friends may
visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2000 at the Holy Cross
Catholic Church; service officated by Father Alex Pablo will begin at 10 a.m.
Followed by burial at the Hanapepe Public Cemetery. Casual attire is
suggested.

Robert C. Gilbert
Robert C. Gilbert, formerly of Kapa’a, died
Sunday, June 11, 2000, at his home in Dewey, Ariz., at the age of 74.
Born
Dec. 10, 1925, in San Diego, Calif., he served in the U.S. Army during World
War II, was an avid pilot, owned several large contracting businesses, and had
served as sheriff in Reno, Nev.
He retired on Kaua’i in 1979, was a past
member of the Associated General Contractors of America and a member of Score,
serving as district representative in the Honolulu Office.
He and his wife
relocated to Dewey, Ariz., in 1992, where they operated C. Gilbert Realty. He
is survived by his wife, Claire, sons, Gage of Oregon; stepsons, Jerry and Alan
Freidinger, both of Kapa’s; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services were
held at the family home. The famly suggests memorial contributions to American
Cancer Society, P.O. Box 5377, Phoenix, Ariz. 85010.

Jeffrey Paul Brisebois, of
Wainiha, Kauai, died on July 26, 2000, at the age of 48.
Born in Santa
Monica, California on May 20, 1952, he was a resident of Hanalei since
1976.
He is survived by: his wife: Mary; daughter: Amber; father: Richard
F. Brisebois; mother: Geraldine (Daniel C.) Clark; brother: Brett Baxter
Clark.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 5, at 4 p.m. for
family and his many friends. A fund is being established for the family.
