She is survived by: two sons: Abraham (Anita) Tanaka of Honolulu, Oahu and
Gilbert (Fumiko) Tanaka of Kapaa, Kauai; three daughters: Alice (Yasuo) Saito
of Torrance, Calif., Elaine Hirano of Eleele, Kauai, and Bernice (Sonny)
Kashiwai of Torrance, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two
brothers: Edward Nakamura and Kingo (Yoshiko) Nakamura, both of Honolulu,
Oahu; two sisters: Yaeko Okubo and Betty (Koichi) Masaki, both of Honolulu,
Oahu; three sister-in-laws: Yoshi Minami and Misao Tanaka, both of Kapaa,
Kauai, and Kimi Nakamura of Honolulu, Oahu; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, at the Kapaa
Jodo Mission; service officiated by Rev. Junyu Kudo will begin at 4 p.m.
Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.

Born in Makaweli, Kauai on June 26, 1918, she is
survived by: two sons: Paul Shaffer of Texas and Walter (Patricia) Shaffer of
Eleele, Kauai; five grandchildren; two sisters: Mildred Yamada and Rose
Miyamoto, both of Makaweli, Kauai; numerous nieces and nephews.
