To the Forum:I am very sick of hearing all the helicopters over my house
all day long. Sometimes I have to turn up the volume on the TV or radio. It
used to be so infrequent and far-off it was almost unnoticeable. Since about
last Christmas it sounds like a heliport and Green Harvest are at it at the
same time.
I sometimes see three helicopters in a row like ducks. I hear
them steadily from 8 a.m. or 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. or 5 p.m., mostly two or three
of them at the same time. When I called the “Helicopter Hotline,” they said
they couldn’t do anything.
This should be a huge air pollution concern.
These helicopters burn between 30 to 45 gallons of fuel per hour, so you can
imagine what we are breathing!
The FAA says we have to have proof so if
anyone could help me and yourself by videotaping them to send in, please call
me at 826-9258 so we can have clean air and peace of mind
again.
